ITV have revealed their significant growth across ITVX in Q1 2024. Year-on-year growth shows an increase of 16% in terms of the number of hours streamed across the platform. The platform is almost 2 years old and has performed very strong and is continuing to outperform itself. We are expected to see further developments in content, product, distribution and marketing over the next year. In March 2024, the broadcaster committed to an additional £15m spent across marketing to drive viewers in and prove to advertisers it is worth the investment. The platform is popular due to the on-demand box sets and exclusive series which keep the viewers entertained and coming back for more.
