KEEPING THE FIRE LIT: TINDER PARTNERS UP WITH LOVE ISLAND

Tinder has been announced as the new partner of Love Island for the upcoming summer season. The partnership will include ads across ITV’s website and video-on-demand platforms, as well as sponsored content on the Love Island app and in-app experiences on Tinder. The in-app experience will allow members of Tinder to apply for this summer’s series through a Swipe Card in app, making their Tinder profile the first audition. If selected, they will be added to a ‘Priority List’ and guaranteed to be seen by the Love Island casting team. Learn more here.

OUT OF HOME CAMPAIGN: CLEAR CHANNEL PARTNER WITH PEOPLE OF CULTURE COLETIVE TO SHARE ART FROM UNDER-REPRESENTED CREATIVES

Clear Channel UK has launched a new partnership with People of Culture Collective, to develop an art fund championing under-represented creatives. In the first installment of the programme, eight artists saw their work on display across the Clear Channel’s network as part of a national digital Out of Home campaign. The network aims to promote equality for ethnic minority people across creative industries. Learn more here

NORTHERN POWERHOUSE: BBC MOVE MORE PROGRAMMING TO MEDIACITY

BBC have announced plans to move more programming and teams to the North of England. MediaCityUK will become the “main base” for its digital and technology teams, supported by digital operations in Glasgow, Cardiff and London. Daytime show, Morning Live will also be broadcast year-round from Salford. BBC have also made a commitment in terms of commissions, with at least 60% of its network TV spend to be out of London. DOWN WITH THE KIDS: CHANNEL 4 TEAM UP WITH TIKITOK TO TARGET YOUNGER AUDIENCE

Channel 4 has partnered with TikTok to ‘super serve’ younger audiences. Channel 4 will be launching two dedicated tiktok accounts (Channel 4 / E4), showing its most popular stars and shows with a run of exclusive content drawn from Hollyoaks, Made in Chelsea and Pete & Sam’s Reality News. In all Channel4 will publish over 150 videos within six months, all of which will be produced by 4Studio, its Leeds-based digital unit. You can learn more about it here.

BACK ON THE BOX: BOUTIQUE BRING NEW VOD FORMAT FOR GRAHAM & BROWN

We have brought a new creative VOD format for our media client Graham & Brown this month, as the Video On Demand campaign has gone live across All4. The Amplify format uses a traditional video ad, bringing it to life with dynamic creative including product images to create a ‘shoppable’ feel. The ad showcases the luxury range of wallpaper and paint which Graham & Brown has to offer, appearing alongside the top Homes programming within All4. You can check it out here.
