TEAMING UP: CHANNEL 4 PARTNER UP WITH TIKTOK TO CREATE PARALYMPIC HUB

Channel 4 has announced it’s partnership with TikTok to create a Paralympics hub, showing highlights and captivating moments from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. The hub will feature a schedule of Paralympics content from Channel 4, created by its 4Studio digital content unit, including behind-the-scenes access with athletes, event and medals highlights, with a split-screen ‘reaction’ format and Q&As. The partnership is the latest push for TikTok’s coverage of live sporting events. Read more here.

FANCY A SHOT: JAGERMEISTER OPEN FIRST COFFEE SHOP

Jägermeister UK opened its first Jäger coffee shop yesterday, to celebrate the launch of its new Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur product. Visitors are given a sample-size Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur bottle to take away as part of a goodie bag. They are also able to use a dispensing billboard, which has been giving away free takeaway bags of Caravan Coffee Roasters coffee beans. The pop up shop operated for two days on the 19th August, situated in London’s Shoreditch. Check it out here.

TALKING ABOUT THE GREEN: NATWEST PARTNER WITH SPOTIFY TO LAUNCH FIRST CARBON NEUTRAL PODCAST

NatWest has partnered with Spotify and digital agency Vayner Media to present the UK’s first completely carbon-neutral podcast series “Green Business Builders.” The podcast’s green credentials have been achieved due to its offsetting of carbon emissions generated by the production and streaming, all part of Spotify Advertising’s sustainable audio offering ‘Sustainable Sonics’. The Podcast will include guests such as brands like Too Good To Go, talking to climate and eco champions and experts from across the UK business community, providing advice and inspiration for individuals and businesses. VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING: COMIC RELIEF LAUNCH NEW COMEDY SERIES SHOWING PRIVATE LIFE OF STARS

Comic Relief is launching a new comedy series that shows the private lives of the UK’s popular TV stars and comedians on Snapchat. The ‘Virtually Everything’ series features Joe Lycett, Katherine Ryan, Roman Kemp and Shaparak Khorsandi in five-minute episodes. The six-part series will be shown on Snapchat Discover, which presents content from broadcasters, media brands and creators. Learn more about it here.

Finally, members of the Boutique media team received the latest insights and tutorial from ITV on the launch of Planet V. Planet V is addressable advertising platform, which we allow for optimization and monitoring campaigns in real time, building audiences with ITV’s first party data which can also be blended with advertisers’ own data. Planet V will allow advertisers and agencies control over the purchasing of their campaigns across ITV’s premium VOD service, the ITV Hub.
