Vaseline have partnered with Hued and VisualDx to promote their new campaign ‘See My Skin’, which aims to educate and connect users with a skincare professional who will understand their “culture, physical and mental needs”. This will include an online platform for people of colour to search for any skin concerns they might have and include images that reflect themselves and their skin tone. The campaign includes a short film portraying the emotional struggles different women have faced in regard to their skin journeys. The platform also encourages women with “dermatologist-diagnosed skin conditions” to upload images of their skin to aid a greater representation of skin conditions.

ITV X HEINEKEN

ITV and Heineken have launched a new partnership to include alcohol-free beer in the Rovers Return Inn and The Woolpack, in hopes to promote their alcohol-free beer and remove the surrounding stigma. The pints will be pulled over the next year allowing viewers to see their favourite soap characters drink it. he move follows on from the launch of Heineken 0.0 Draught in a cohort of British pubs last year, dovetailing the national roll-out of the beer into hundreds of pubs throughout 2022.

Essential Waitrose

Waitrose have launched a new campaign to promote it’s lower cost essential range, ‘Essential Waitrose’, despite having clashed with Asda over their new range named ‘Just Essentials’. The first campaign for the range will be across print, digital display and radio until the end of May. The promotion will also be featured on London’s Piccadilly Lights, due to reach over 1 million people each week. Customer Director Martin George also described the campaign as a “ground-breaking first” for the supermarket, especially due to the importance surrounding the crisis of living costs.

Finally members of the Boutique media team were joined by ITV this month, to provide a sneak peak on the new free streaming service ITVX launching later this year. This will be the UK’s first integrated advertising and subscription funded (AVOD/SVOD) platform, with new content dropping everything week of the year.
