Google announced in mid-October that it was making major steps into connecting online and offline business data. Instead of relying heavily on third party directory sites, the search engine giant has instead been focussing on developing their own Google My Business service offering with the help of Google Duplex. They’re also pushing Google Maps AR even further, with plans for users being able to point their smartphone at a business, and being greeted with key information, including reviews.
