Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) is a charitable foundation that blends music and goodwill to empower children and young people worldwide. To raise awareness of the charity and shine a light on their initiatives, we were challenged to gain regional and industry recognition for events such as ‘Set For Love’ and ‘Get Equipped’ that help drive donations for them.

SOLUTION

We created a targeted plan to amplify LNADJ’s story through key events by creating press releases for national, regional and lifestyle music media. At ‘Set For Love’ the aim was to create the worlds largest livestream DJ event, and this created a dynamic talking point within the electronic music industry and beyond, providing the opportunity for up-and-coming DJs and global touring artists to join together to make a real difference. With events such as ‘Get Equipped’ where a team of musicians and artists visit countries to make a difference, we targeted regional and industry media to tell a feel good story of what the touring acts have done.

OUTCOMES

Over 1,000 DJ’s worldwide were involved in Set For Love from over 50 countries

More than £60,000 was raised, blowing the target out of the water, and half of this was distributed within hours of the 72 hour event finishing

9 pieces of coverage for the latest Get Equipped visit as well as TV and radio interest

A live radio chat with a music innovator who ran an ultramarathon on behalf of LNADJ and raised over £7,000
