Once a year we venture out of the office and set up shop at one of Yorkshire’s most stunning venues (and widely stocked bars) for our annual Away Day. This isn’t our annual awards, nor our team building days. This is a dedicated day (or two) to get inspired and develop ourselves on a personal and professional level.
It can be easy in our industry to get carried away with smashing KPIs, welcoming new clients and hitting targets to pause, and ensure we are being the best versions of our self. And this year was no different.
So with that in mind we travelled up to Bowcliffe Hall in search of enlightenment. Where we found ourselves in one of the most bad ass venues we’ve ever seen. The Blackburn wing at Bowcliffe Hall was created to look like a plane wing – and it does not disappoint. Looking over one of the many lovely field of sheep Yorkshire has to offer, it’s a truly lovely place to be,
For the 2021 Away Day we wanted to do something a bit different. So we called in one of our old Friends Brad Waldron (Ex Aussie Rugby star and Ju Jitsu black belt) to inspire and open our minds like never before. It sounds a bit cheesy but there is no other way to describe him as truly inspirational. From learning how to juggle, analysing our strengths and weaknesses, to assessing what is most important in our lives and where we spend most of our time and if they correlate.
If you haven’t heard of Brad before, we STRONGLY recommend you check out some of his work. He coaches and inspires the leaders of some of the largest organisations on the planet, giving people the tools and self belief to succeed.
