Everyone’s favourite environmentally conscious primate has returned, this time to share the scary truth behind the meat industry.
Greenpeace’s new campaign titled, “There’s a monster in my kitchen” shows the story of Rang-Tan and a friendly jaguar, aptly named Jag-wah. Jag-wah shares his experience of being forced to flee his forest home in Brazil to make way for grazing cattle and animal-feed plantations. “There’s a monster in my forest, and it’s filling me with fear. It’s putting us all in danger,” the animal warns. The boy promises to respond to Jag-wah’s trouble by eating more vegetarian meals, telling his friends and protesting.
It’s a great piece of animation and if it doesn’t make you want to reduce your meat intake then that’s on you. You can watch the full ad below.
