YouTube has reached the number one spot for consumer spend in Q1. According to a report by App Annie that the first quarter was a record breaker for the video hosting giant, with the mobile app soaring ahead as the stand out performer, beating the likes of TikTok and Tinder for the title. TEAMING UP: FACEBOOK INTEGRATES WITH SPOTIFY TO ALLOW IN-STREAM LISTENING

A mini player experience is due to launch on Facebook as the social media giants tighten their collaboration with streaming heavyweights, Spotify.
