Business Development Manager

We have a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team here at Boutique.

The Opportunity

You’ll be an integral member of our Growth department, with responsibility for generating leads in accordance with our strategy and sales process. Co-owning the sales process, building and maintaining a database of high value contacts, with responsibility for the outreach strategy, reporting and platform management.

Some of what you’ll do:

  • Data strategy including acquiring, managing, and cleansing using our CRM to ensure constantly robust and fresh data.
  • Liaising and partnering with department heads and the marketing team to ensure a calendar of content for outreach to include white papers, case studies etc
  • Using a range of channel approaches you will engage within specific pre-determined verticals in which we specialise and therefore seek further growth.
  • Creating high quality engagements and conversations, and qualifying opportunities against pre-determined criteria.
  • You will work closely with our Growth Director to ensure a well-reported pipeline
  • Develop and report on strands of activity that are driving performance
  • Develop working partnerships with a select number of collaborative partner agencies to drive further opportunities
  • Partnering with the marketing team to drive event attendance
  • Selection of technology used to deliver against your objectives. i.e CRM features, communication tools, research & insight tools and subscriptions etc.
  • Partnering with the Heads of departments to understand capacity and growth requirements for monthly and quarterly targets

Responsibilities

The role is strategic in nature, generating leads in line with our highly refined strategy and driven by our overarching business objectives. You will co-own the sales process and therefore be responsible for all metrics and outcomes. You will also be expected to be at the forefront of industry developments, regularly attending events and undertaking ongoing learning and development

Utilising this knowledge and understanding, married with your strategic approach, and highly refined data you will intelligently engage new prospects with our proposition, generating leads and qualifying opportunities.

Reporting into the Growth Director, you will co-own the sales process alongside the Growth Director. You will also partner with the Heads of departments to understand utilisation, capacity and growth requirements.
