ACCOUNT MANAGER – PR

A call to the extraordinary.

We have a cracking opportunity within our team for a PR specialist looking to develop their career in a unique and exciting agency – working with some extraordinary people on some superb consumer and B2B brands.

You will have in-house or agency PR experience and/or be educated to degree level in PR or a related subject. But more importantly – we’re looking for you to have tons of enthusiasm and an appetite to really develop your PR skills in a daring, dynamic and disruptive agency.

Boutique is a true channel agency, giving you exposure to a broad range of marketing services. We don’t believe in working in silos.

Some of the things you’ll do:

Create press materials (e.g. press releases, news stories, case studies etc.)
Pitch stories and feature ideas to journalists across print, broadcast and online media
Develop client relationships
People management
Lead client meetings
Evaluate campaigns effectively using best of breed PR, Social Media and SEO tools
Respond to enquiries from journalists and identify newsjacking opportunities
Demonstrate an ability to secure results independently and as part of a team
Engage key online influencers through a mix of channels
Maintain weekly and monthly reporting and evaluation documents
Brainstorm creative ideas

Some of the things you’ll bring:

Creative thinking
Relationship building
Experience of managing digital PR accounts is essential, experience of traditional and events would be beneficial
Experience of line management and developing more junior team members
Strong media relations skills
An understanding of the media across B2C and B2B publications
Excellent time management – working to both internal and external deadlines
Some knowledge of SEO and social media and how the channels integrate with PR
