Microsoft Ads, previously Bing Ads, continues to push their current product offering, with the launch of fresh product launches for September. Audience network video ads (already being piloted in the UK), vertical based product ads and disclaimers are all set to appear, whilst inline appeals, simplified UET tag implementation with third party integration, and flexible insertion orders will speed up account manager for advertisers. BACK UP INCOMING: INSTAGRAM LAUNCHES ADDITIONAL ECOMMERCE SUPPORT

Although currently being tested in the US alone, global rollout in the coming months of ads in the shop tabs is sure to excite advertising utilising the social platform. Expect single images and carousels, ready to target those looking to purchase through the app. Learn more here

SAY GOODBYE: GOOGLE REPLACE EXPANDED TEXT ADS TO RESPONSIVE SEARCH ADS

Whilst the change doesn’t come as a shock for the majority of advertisers, considering Google’s historic push towards this ad type, it does pose a risk to brands who are looking to tightly control their ad messaging, and what is seen by users. SAME BIRD NEW TRICKS: TWITTER LAUNCH ECOMMERCE AD OFFERING WITH SHOP MODULE

Whilst Twitter has for too long been years behind the likes of Facebook and Instagram in terms of eCommerce advertising, the launch Shop Modules, a dedicated section at the top of profiles where brands can showcase their products, is sure to create interest in the advertising market.
