Boutique was appointed to support Global education provider Cognition’s “Transition to Teach”

Cognition Education is a global provider of education consultancy and professional learning through to teacher recruitment, e-learning and publishing services. Boutique was appointed to support Cognition’s ‘Transition to Teach’ programme funded by the Department for Education.

We were asked to support the programme’s recruitment drive and became an extension of the Cognition Education marketing team.

We needed to encourage career changers to get into teaching with a focus on the north of England and all sectors. We executed activity over a 5 month enrolment period to drive referral traffic and also to generate PR coverage which:

  • Communicates the career benefits of switching to teaching
  • Promotes the support available
  • Educates and changes perceptions of teaching (barriers and drivers)
  • Champions the case studies and transition success stories

One key to the campaign was launching the ‘Transition to Teach’ initiative across all major northern towns and cities.

We leveraged local data, case studies and spokespeople to support the timeline of events staged by Cognition throughout the region. As well as leading the news agenda with a series of news stories, utilising DfE research, applicant enquiries data and ITT providers, while also including case studies and success stories in press and broadcast media.
