Paid Social Manager
Location: Hybrid (Leeds-based, flexible working)

We’re looking for a Paid Social Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok. You’ll play a key role in shaping how paid social evolves within the agency – driving innovation, testing new approaches, and helping us stay ahead of the curve.
You’ll work within our digital team at Boutique, collaborating with specialists across paid search, SEO, and strategy, as well as our influencer and organic social teams to deliver joined-up, high-performing campaigns.
This role reports into the Account Director for Paid and suits someone who’s confident managing campaigns end-to-end, comfortable leading client conversations, and keen to contribute to agency growth through innovation, pitching, and thought leadership.
Job purpose
To lead the delivery and ongoing optimisation of paid social activity, from strategy and implementation through to insight and reporting. You’ll help shape our paid social approach, drive platform innovation, strengthen the link between paid, influencer, and organic social, and play a part in supporting new business and agency marketing.
Core responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok, aligned to client objectives and audience strategy
- Own day-to-day campaign performance, budgets, pacing, and optimisation to deliver efficiency and results
- Develop paid social strategies and testing plans, bringing fresh ideas and new formats into client activity
- Collaborate with influencer and organic social teams to build integrated, cross-channel approaches
- Present results, insights, and recommendations to clients clearly and confidently
- Maintain campaign documentation, budgets, forecasts, and timelines, ensuring smooth delivery
- Support cross-channel planning and contribute to integrated strategies with paid search, SEO, and PR
- Work closely with creatives to brief and review assets, ensuring they’re optimised for platform and audience
- Stay on top of platform developments and share actionable learnings with the team and clients
- Contribute to internal innovation, process improvements, and mentoring of junior team members
- Support new business activity, from contributing to proposals and strategy development to joining client pitches
- Help shape Boutique’s own marketing by feeding in insight, ideas, and thought leadership around paid social
Skills & experience
- Around 4–6 years’ experience in paid social, ideally agency-side and across multiple sectors
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and Business Manager, including pixel setup, events, and audiences
- Experience managing campaigns end-to-end, including tracking, testing, and creative rollout
- Confident analysing performance data, identifying patterns, and turning insight into clear recommendations
- Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple accounts, timelines, and budgets effectively
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams
- Comfortable supporting pitches and contributing to new business strategy
- Curiosity for innovation, with awareness of new platform opportunities, tools, and creative approaches
- Understanding of attribution, cross-channel impact, and the role of paid social within broader media strategies
- Familiarity with Excel/Sheets, Google Analytics (GA4), and reporting tools such as Looker Studio a plus
