We have a new opportunity for a Head of Media

The Opportunity

As a member of the agency management team, you will have leadership and management responsibility for the Media department.

You’ll oversee contact with clients and our media owner relationships. Driving growth in this department through nurturing the current team and working closely with the new business team. This position will bring leadership to the department and will work closely with other seniors in the business.

Some of What You’ll Do:

Growth and Commerciality

  • Financial Reporting

 About You

Marketing and Business Development Manager

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Business Development Manager here at Boutique.

Reporting directly in to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for all Boutique marketing including our website and social. You’ll take the lead on Business Development, driving agency growth through developing our communications strategy, identifying potential clients and developing content for all sectors.

Day-to-day requirements


  • Manage the Boutique website updating with content and case studies
  • Ensuring ongoing social activity for the agencies feeds
  • Ensure we have a strong digital presence across relevant sites such as the Drum, RAR, MAA etc.
  • Manage the marketing budget to include advertising, paid search, remarketing, outreach, mailers etc.
  • Lead on and manage our award applications
  • Ensuring content calendar is delivered from all departments and tying with ongoing new business activity
  • Liaise with freelance creatives to develop content into appropriate format
  • Undertake competitor analysis

New Business

  • Own and manage the Pipeline keeping it fresh, regularly added to and well segmented
  • Identify potential clients and adding to the database
  • Identify sectors and segments and potential clients in each
  • Set and report on target; calls, outbound emails, meetings, financial targets
  • Develop the communications strategy to all segments and sectors

Senior Social Media Executive

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Social Media & Marketing Executive to join the earned media team of an award-winning integrated agency in Leeds.

Reporting to the head of earned media, you’ll primarily work within the PR and content team to create, implement and manage organic social media strategies for clients and the agency. In addition, you’ll work with the paid digital team to design and create paid social campaign assets, create and manage campaign plans and will contribute to new business proposals.

Day-to-day requirements

To create engaging social content plans and social support for clients and Boutique. You will use existing content, create unique content and amplify the rest of the account team’s initiatives in order to help build client brands and drive engagement.

This role primarily sits within the Earned Media team, but also works across the Paid and Owned teams to ensure a joined-up approach to content strategy across the business.

Senior PPC Executive

Due to rapid growth, we’re now looking for a Senior PPC Executive to join the digital team. You’ll be trained to become an expert in PPC activity across Google and Bing, working with the best in the business.

You’ll be into your numbers, and with a keen eye to understanding what works and what doesn’t.

You’ll work directly with the business directors to help clients to prosper online, and you’ll love seeing your hard work directly impact on the performance of the accounts you manage.

What you’ll do

– Report on key account PPC performance daily
– Review, manage and optimise campaigns
– Test and manage creative variations
– Liaise with media owners and ultimately clients on industry insights / performance and developments
– feed back to the wider business on developments and product releases by Google, Microsoft Facebook etc.

Outreach Executive

Due to continuous growth we’re looking for someone who can build a solid network with influencers both on and offline. You’ll support both the PR and SEO team so you’ll need to balance a passion for developing partnerships with the right approach to converting them into links where appropriate.

The role

Development of an outreach strategy to maximize coverage and links with a focus on the latter element

You’ll integrate with both the digital and PR team and will be a key link between the two departments and the outreach of content

Developing a network of appropriate contacts and influencers both on and offline

Building and maintaining strong working relationships with journalists, bloggers, vloggers and social curators

Regular auditing of links and their value

There will be an element of content creation to support the existing team

About you

You’ll love a bit of hustle because you understand what makes a great link and you’ll know the value of developing a brilliant link structure for clients websites. Like a dog with a bone, you’ll have just the right approach to develop the right relationships and help build a network of authoritative links for digital clients.

Content Executive

With new clients arriving each month the work load is ever increasing. We’ve also got some new to market clients and as such we’ve demands on the content team. We’re therefore looking for a savvy content writer with a natural passion and skill for the written word.

This role will blend across Earned Media and therefore you’ll work with both the PR and digital team bringing to life the content strategies in place for our clients.

What you’ll do

  • Research brands, competitors and content in the market in which our clients operate.
  • Involvement in idea generation
  • Creation of reports and plans for monthly WIPs
  • Building knowledge of client’s businesses.
  • Monitor industry trends to spot opportunities or new developments and share with the team or wider business
  • Keep one eye on trends and occurrences to ensure we’re able to jump on opportunities relevant to our clients
  • Create content
  • There will be elements of outreach both on and offline to support the SEO and PR teams.

What you need

  • A level of experience conducive to the role. You’ll have at least 18 months of experience working in a digital agency or PR agency (so long as it’s a modern thinking PR agency!) so you’ll understand the balance between natural content, the requirement for keyword presence and the need to create something that others will love to engage with.
  • Excellent written skills (that goes without saying, right?)
  • An understanding of the impact of content on user experience
  • A passion for writing
  • An understanding of the best formats for the ideas generated….it’s not all about written word
