It comes as no surprise that across the board, press circulation figures are still in decline.
In the Quality market the Times has suffered a double digit drop to 421,444 whilst the Telegraph reduced its circulation to 603,769 and the Ft saw a decline to 336,230. Of course, these declines are offset somewhat by the increased figures that each is achieving on their digital platforms with the paywall of the Times and the FT not detracting growth. Whilst the ABC made for depressing reading for News International (the Sun also saw an 8% decline to 2.7m) they do have something to celebrate as the digital subscription figures for the Times has grown by over 30% in the last quarter.
The i remains the only title that is seeing growth with a joint circulation (with the independent) up a whopping 96% reaching a new high of 354,520 and overtaking the Guardian (231,874).
